TYPES OF SPARK PLUGS

The spark plug is a part of the machine that ignites the fuel-air mixture in internal combustion engines. Spark plugs spark high-voltage electricity by jumping between two electrodes. Fuel that reaches the combustion point under pressure in the cylinder is ignited by this spark. The "burnout time" of the motor is thus realized.

Spark Plug Types

Platinum Spark Plugs

Platinum is the most valuable of all metals. It is also very valuable for Bosch spark plugs. This is because it has the lowest heat and electrical conductivity and the lowest heat expansion among other metals. However, it is substantially resistant to corrosion. That's why Bosch platinum plugs have an extra long operating life. Platinum-iridium spark plugs have copper core platinum middle electrodes and iridium-enriched grounding electrodes. In double-platinum spark plugs, iridium pins are also welded to the grounding electrode by laser method.

Idel Performance for vehicles with LPG
Quick access to operating temperature
Higher cold starter safety
Motor and catalyst protection
High protection against corrosion
Better ignition and balanced engine operation
